Hello Billy. Saw Metallica at Donington many years ago, they lifted what was a poor year.

My only concern is the banter, this is not a banter thread and it's like an escape from the **** thread. Drogs is spot on he never brings any Chelsea **** on here. The Mancs will be ok, (imo) so it will not be a problem

I'm willing to give it a go but for me the music thread is a bit of a refuge from the **** stirring if you know what I mean <ok> Everyones welcome but I do think they can just come on via our thread...I dunno mate it's no real bother as long as it doesn't descend into the usual **** <laugh> I ****ing hate united obviously but don't half have a soft spot for a fair bit of Manchester music
 
Don't know about that. Me, Billy, page and Hash have had some right long 'chats and arguments in the wee small hours :wink:

The year I was at Donington was the same year that they released that album, they opened with Sandman. More Donington memories coming up.
