    This could be 20 points because of times that Pompey have done this.

    Trevor Birch the administrator at Pompey:

    "The intention is to try and sell the club as a going concern," he said.

    "I'm used to dealing with clubs in crisis. You could say most of the Championship is in crisis, with 30% of clubs paying wages in excess of 100% of their turnover"

    Wonder what the wages to turnover ratio is at Millwall now?

    Among those creditors are fellow football clubs West Bromwich Albion, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Bristol City, as well as the Football League itself. Doubt very much if any club will be prepared to sell Pompey any players in the future!!

    They are due £24m over the next two years in parachute payments from the prem, plus the balance from this season - they only owe £4m alledgedly(?) so dont really see why they cant borrow against that to pay their way - I know their bank a/cs have been frozen - but surely common sense should prevail so that people dont lose their jobs and creditors get paid or even more people cud lose out - or is it a scam?
