Thought I'd stick this up for the game tomorrow. Looks as if McPhail and Hudson are out of the game tomorrow. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17073415 Chops has found the target again scoring 4 in 3 games so he will be looking to add to that tally. http://www.walesonline.co.uk/footballnation/cardiff-city/cardiff-city-fc/2012/02/17/ipswich-town-striker-michael-chopra-believes-cardiff-city-will-be-distracted-by-carling-cup-final-91466-30345994/
A fully fit Hudson is better than Gerrard. Think this probably means Gerrard will start in the Carling Cup Final. Gestede played well mid week but id go back to 451. Vuckic should be dropped to the bench. Conway and Mason should start. Minus Hudson I think that leaves us with our strongest possible line up.
The article hints that Huds should be fit for the final. I would prefer Huds to Gerrard tbh. However, if he plays a blinder tomorrow who knows, Malky may just keep him in the starting line up. Glad it's not my problem picking the team
Back down to 4th this morning compliments of a 1-0 Reading win last night. A win needed to regain 3rd spot by close of play.
the players are saying all the right things, turner said in the western mail this morning that there is no chance of the players taking their eye off this match, no chance of the players going easy in any 50-50's in the hope they are fit for the final, surely any players who do have that attitude will be dropped anyway, the league is the priority and anything else is a bonus
Team for today. 01 David Marshall 02 Kevin McNaughton 06 Anthony Gerrard 25 Ben Turner 03 Andrew Taylor 08 Don Cowie 04 Filip Kiss 07 Peter Whittingham 17 Aron Gunnarsson 20 Joe Mason 09 Kenny Miller 29 Elliot Parish 23 Darcy Blake 11 Craig Conway 19 Haris Vuckic 10 Robert Earnshaw
still no hudson, good to see mason playing again, he offers something different to the rest, will cowie play on the left again? i hope not he was ineffective vs peterborough
I'd rather Hudson be fit for the Carling Cup next week rather than risk him against Ipswich. That's if he is fit enough to play next week.
he wasnt on the bench vs peterbrough either, so parish is that new goalie, i was wondering who it was
Sounded like a nailed on red initially but apparently going away from goal. But surely if he's last man it's a red?
