I noticed a lot of hate towards the we will rock you song being played as we enter the pitch and I have to agree its a tad lame. If you could pick the song to which the saints enter the field of play what would you chose and why? I personally would have Tinie Tempha Written In The Stars cause its upbeat and feel were on our way. Or Wham Wake Me Up Before You Go Go
I guess it's usually Portsmouth by Mike Oldfield. Tune. Another good one for Saints: The Eve of the War by Jeff Wayne
What tune do pompey come out to? And I am not trying to make any jokes
Price tag - Jessie J
Not knowledgeable about classical music, but a stirring classical piece has more gravitas than a pop tune (and doesn't date).
You mean Price Tag, by Jessie J. If you're gonna have a dig at us, at least get the facts right! Edit: Whoops, missed out the i. Ironic as Alanis Morrisette would say.....
The Battle - Harry Gregson-Williams (Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe soundtrack)
From one of Handel's oratorios I think. I find it repellant when pieces of classical music get hijacked by football - nessun dorma as an example. Beethoven's 9th worked well for the Euros though.
