Am so excited about tomorrw i had to do tomorrows thread sorry all lol....

    14.55 Newbury

    Cedre Bleu- 6/1

Paul Nicholls has won four of the last six runnings of this race and it would be no surprise to see CEDRE BLEU find the required improvement from his chasing bow to enhance that record. Returning from nearly a year off, the lightly-raced five-year-old shaped like he would come on plenty of the experience when scoring from subsequent winner Belvano over 2m1f here and she should also relish this extra yardage.

    1.15 Newbury

    Empire Levant- 14/1 E/W

This was a close call between him and one of my local favourites Via Galeli who has done really well since being switched to handicaps, with solid placed efforts behind Brampour and Ubi Ace to his name this term. Excused latest effort and can hit the frame if back to best- so anyone wanting to back e/w I wouldnt put them off at ahuge price of 33/1.Although I fully expect his stable mate Zarkandar to rip this race up and run away with it. I have of course done him to win, but his stable mate Empire Levant is off a very good mark and will definately give the others a run for thier money. He is one of my ante-post bets for the festival for the county hurdle (got him @ 25's but now only 16's) and I am pretty sure that will soon go after tomorrows performance. He has produced two sound C&D efforts this season, winning easily in November before splitting Rock On Ruby and Raya Star 2 days later, so obviously likes the course- intrestingly he has the jockey that will prbly ride Zarkandar in the CH.

    Zarkandar win

    Zarkandar/Hold Fast double

That will do for me, and hopefully it will do for Nicholls too.

Looking at the first 4 at Newbury I can't help but think all the favourites are going to oblige .............. Sprinter Sacre, Long Run, Zarkandar, Vulcanite

It can't be that easy, can it?

Racing is never that easy. I think cases can be made against all four, I just hope Zarkandar isn't the one to let people down.

    4.15 Fakenham

    Barbers Shop

Thats right- the queens horse is back after a massive 447-day absence, the one time King George VI third should take all the beating. Her Majesty's gelding has clearly had his problems and was pulled up in the Hennessy Gold Cup at Newbury when last sighted at the racecourse in 2010 but in such a small field, he is expected to get his own way and class is taken to tell where it matters most. He is currentyl 20/1 (a huge price) for the foxhunters @ the festival which will sure disappear if runs well tomorrow. Which I think he will have his own way and show us a bit of that King George form which will take all the beating! I must state he wont be a working mans price but a winner is a winner!

The horse is past his best and the Foxhunters is over the same distance as the Gold Cup which was always just that bit too far for him. 20's doesnt look value to me!

Hes only 10- and is carrying 8lbs less than the other fancy Elezar who is also 11 and is carrying the same weight as the 12yr old star double- surely him running fresh will only go in his favour. In regards to the Foxhunters, he has proven stamina! and im sure will have barry geraghty on him (if he actually goes to the festival) which will only do him good! Plus compared to others in the field, he is the class horse in the field! and 20/1 e/w is a value imo! But each to thier own <ok>

Best bet of the day has to be Tante Sissi in the 4.25 at Sandown. Beaten 10 lengths by Tetlami and 7 lengths by Swincombe Flame on her last 2 starts she looks absolutely thrown in on handicap debut off a mark of 113.

No offence wooly but you have more chance of going through the card at Newbury tomorrow than Barry Geraghty riding in the Foxhunters....simply not possible. Good luck if you back him!

No offense taken, with tomorrows card it looks very feasible to do lol <laugh> especially the first four! I have had a very small e/w on him it wont bankrupt me if he doesnt run or doesnt win and wont make me rich if he wins, just did it for a bit of sentiment value really <laugh>
