The game originally scheduled for Saturday 14th April will now take place on Friday 13th April kick-off 7.45pm live on Sky Sports. Saints and Reading played out a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture at the Madejski Stadium back in October." DTLW
Brilliant. Just when we're at the business end of the season, and might need to win - and who knows, this might be a position-swapper - we're on TV. Not sure how I feel about that.
Sky take the piss keep moving our games to Friday nights Probaly won't be able to go to this one now and was quite looking forward to it
West Ham are never on TV. Whereas we seem to be on it every month - sometimes more than once a month in fact.
Why moan about TV games? TV games bring so much money to the club, they're a good thing for revenue. Funny, it's probably the same people moaning that we didn't have enough TV coverage in the past few season, that are moaning we have too much now !
Someone told me earlier, that to make the same amount from a normal game as we do from a TV game we would have to sell around 29,000 tickets... now we get the fee for the TV game plus whatever we sell in tickets.
Whilst I don't think there is a TV curse, I'm sure we play better at 15.00 hr on Saturday. This is getting a bit ridiculous now...why don't they just give us our own TV channel and be done with it.
as this is our penultimate home and likely to be challenging for automatic and playing another team going for the playoffs at least i imagine this game will be a sell out anyway so its fantastic its on tv - further funds.
Well I have just booked off the Friday and Monday as holiday may as well make a long weekend of this! Bring it on!
I'm secretly happy as it means I am more likely to be able to go. But if people want me to be annoyed at Sky I can do that too. Grr.
Grrr, lets's all shake our fists at Sky. Bastards, how dare they film our football matches and give us hundreds of thousands of pounds in revenue and provide our club with worldwide media coverage....
It's not that, it's that they put KO's to weird, annoying and unconvinient (for some of us) times and days
