http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/9535717.Saints_secret_weapon/r/?ref=rss Actually a decent read. He's been fantastic this season and could easilly adapt to the EPL. Decent pace, built like a brick poohouse, great crosswr and reads the game well. Classy full back!
I hope he does adapt well to the EPL! But yes, he's been awesome from what I've seen of him. I thought Guly was up there with the assists though?
Really disagree with this I'm afraid. The way we play the ball out from the back requires composure from all our back 4 and I don't think Frazer's looked out of place here. He's decent udner pressure not afraid to send a first time pass up the line or take on his man either on the inside (even inside his own half) or the outside. Never feel worried when he's in posession....
Hopefully his injury doesn't keep him out for long. I fully expect him to miss out this Saturday, but without Butterfield who I feel is a good back-up our RB will be our weak link.
Richardson is one of the weakest players in our team. Good going forward and has got his fair share of assists, but defensively he's well. Not good enough.
JoeyB is one of our weaker posters, good at coming forward, but very negative in his distribution, definitely not in the first XI.
Disagree with this. Richardson has lots of strength and physical presence. He's like a battering ram or a brick wall when it comes to opposing wingers who are always slighter built than him. He's very strong for a full-back. He is the Championship's version of Micah Richards.
Frazer Richardson has been superb this season, attacking and defensively! A contender for Player of the Season award for me On another note, I do feel sorry for Butterfield as he was great last season but has hardly been seen since
Apart from me? That is a tough one, might be the subject of a new thread itself when we get bored in the summer time!
For me Frazer has been top class this year, its just a shame he missed so much of last season with his shoulder injury otherwise we may have had a more comfortable time Probably in my top 3 for player of the year, consistantly good - not sure where some of the knob head posters on this site get their views from! If he cant play tomorrow then we should give Stephens a try, Derby are not top class and will sit back and try and take us on the break so would be great opportunity for him to get some experience
And I presume you have? We're entitled to an opinion, no need to say that you think we don't know what we're talking about
As I've said for a long time, he's been our best player of the season so far (though Rickie is very, very close behind).
