First time I've seen picture. Definately a red card..his hand is gripping Sharp's neck and you can see the pain/discomfort in Sharp's face. If that had been a Saints' player, I would say idiot and move on. Hence, why SFC did not appeal against Lambert's red when he reacted to a challenge.
Just spent 30 mins browsing the WHU fans comments on kumb.com. Essentially the consensus is that we are a bunch of diving cheating fairies and that any respect they had for us has now evaporated. I don't think Probert will be on their Christmas card list either. Apparently we are a medicore team and we will fall away down the league like a stone.
Come on Mate all forums are biased towards their own team. I have read plenty of anti West Ham nonsense on your forums today too about how all we done last night was hoof the ball and how lucky we were. Any sensible West Ham fan you ask will agree that last night was a fair result and that we are probably the 2 most likely to finish in the top 2. Don't for a minute think that a few idiots on KUMB represent all of us. Most of us are an honest bunch and we call it as we see it. COYI
But thats exactly what i am saying. I don't like the way the game has gone. I do not think Taylor deserved a red card last night as it was a little flash point in a massive game which clearly meant a lot to both sets of players. I have said that I agree the referee had no choice but to issue the red because of the way the game has gone. But I personally would like to see a bit more common sense used. A yellow card for both players and a further warning to Taylor that he is being closely watched and let the game carry on 11 v 11 would have been fine IMO. And it may seem West Ham biased but it really isn't. I am always moaning about how card happy referees are no matter who is playing.
It is good to have a reasoned argument from the opposition, we are definitely biased, make no mistake on that. I would have preferred it to stay 11 v 11, we have an apalling record against 10 man sides! But the hands around the throat was just too much on this occasion. No good bleating about referees, we have had as many, if not more bad decisions against us than most, they say it evens up over the season, in which case we should get a few more favourable ones!
