Oh well.

Well done Shrews - we win at home 1-0, they win at home 1-0.

Sounded like a tight game. Now let's see how we react to our first loss under MM. I'm looking forward to Oxford on Saturday - I'm going down with an Oxford fan and a couple of neutrals (Arsenal and Liverpool). Couple of pints in the Beehive beforehand and then onwards and upwards with the Gas!!!!!

Pride and AJ..................this season unless Mcghee gets a few extra loans through the door will be one of consolodation firstly making sure we dont get relegated secondly we have a basis for a team to challenge next season. so that we are able to attract some quality players and replace some of the poor ones that Chuckle recruited.

We all want us to make a dash for the playoffs.......but surely you can see what we have got in the locker and it aint much,if he gets a few more in then we have a very slim chance, on the current crop we are 2nd quartile at best.

As for Saturday vs Oxford hmm...we are unbeaten in last 3 at home scoring 2 in each of those:smile:

The problem is that our defence is letting in between 1 and 2 goals a match and we only enjoy a clean sheet in 1 out of 4 matches.

Oxford are unbeaten in the last 5 away matches and tend to score 2 or 3 away goals, they have just recruited Lee Holmes a striker from Southampton (who like Bristol City have more strikers than they need)there defence is awesome conceding less than 1 a match.:headbang:

It wont be a match for the faint hearted and we will need to score more than 1!!

So on that basis it will be either a goal scoring feast from both sides or a tight affair.
