Quality :D

It'd be nice if I got to watch a Tottenham game in one of the corporate boxes for my birthday in a month's time... hint, hint <whistle>

And now I've been sick in my mouth :emoticon-0132-envy:

Alternatively you can roll it into swimming pool and go for one of the ends that has bubbles coming out of it.

On the plus side, no distractions from the footie. Rafa seems to be missing some of the game <grr> prawn cocktail brigade!

How badly run must they have been?
Perhaps the Old Firm will start to consider the future of Scottish football now?

The Old Firm should've sat down years ago and worked out a plan that would see the sport redeveloped in their country, without either of them losing out.
A maximum squad spend on wages and transfers every year, plus some kind of promises about bringing through youngsters.

They should be looking at countries like Holland and Portugal who have leagues and national teams that punch well above their weight.
Teams like Ajax, PSV, Benfica and Porto seem to have done pretty well out of youth development.

Ajax are in the doldrums these days - it used to be their starlets had a few season in the first team, then moved on to Italy, Spain, England or Germany. Now they're getting poached out of their academy, or snapped up withing 18 months of their debut, with a much smaller fee exchanging hands.

Speaking of Ajax, watching a 'Special Report' on Clarence Seedorf on SSN right now...

They're still bringing through youngsters like van der Wiel and Eriksen though, Croydon.
Far better than anything our Glaswegian friends have mustered for decades, frankly.

They might need a little more protection from UEFA, though.
Tapping up youth players is something that needs to be stopped.

There used to be, but I think that it was closed, Croydon.
Arsenal and Liverpool exploited it for the signing of Fabregas, Merida and Pacheco.
Barca got very pissed off and went after Arsenal in the courts, forcing a fee of €3.2m for Merida and making English clubs reconsider.

Not sure where it all stands now, but it appears as if a standard has been set, at least.
