OK peeps, a little game. Just finished reading about this footballer- he has led one hell of a life.I will describe his life a little at a time and lets see if anyone knows who he is. I was a German paratrooper in WW2, whilst fighting in Russia I was decorated 5 times and won the Iron Cross 1st class. I was captured by the Russians but escaped. I was sent to France for the Normandy landings was captured by the French resistance- escaped, then by Americans-escaped and finally by British troops. First words my captors said were- hello Fritz, fancy a cup of tea? I was sent to a POW camp in England..... more to follow
