You ain't seen the game yet mate. It's a joke, Fergie made lots of sly digs in the pre-match interviews, Evra tried to break Suarez legs and took out Ferdinand and then squared up to him in the tunnel, the crowd where bitter throughout, Evra's post match celevrations where a joke and then Fergie embarresed himself and the club to a degree rarely seen. He was red faced and looked really bitter, I think he is starting to lose it, like Cloughy did towards the end.

But all everyone wants to focus on is a handshake?

What those 'experts' in the studio didn't bother analysing, though, was the bit after it. Rio made sure Suarez went down, because his tackle hadn't got the ball away and Suarez would have been clear. He sort of tumbled over and took his legs away. He was clever and made it look like part of the tackle, and so he got away with it.
So the initial tackle was fine, but not the follow-through.

That was the argument some Utd fans were making in favour of Cahill getting sent off last week. It was wrong then, and it's wrong now. Countless players make sliding tackles, win the ball and make sure they bring the player down too to make sure they can't just chase after the loose ball. It's part of the game, and one of the first things any decent defender learns to do.

Agree winning the ball and then trailing the leg is good defenfing, we saw Skrtel do it in the cup game. Thing is Ferdinand missed the ball.

They are merely being honest about the situation and being objective about it.. For that I applaud them. You are the only one who is unable to be gracious in defeat.
