Sheff Wed lose at Exeter and Chrltons current player of the year Jose Semedo gives away the freekick for Exeters wilnner....!

Just think how much Megson will be moaning as they had 64% possesion and more shots on & off target.

A great resusult for us

Brilliant result I could see that one coming Exeter aint a bad side at league 1 level sheff weds think they are better than they are....am a happy boy 7 pts ahead and 2 games in hand and those 2 games against bottom 4 sides

This is my fear. We are never good at being the favourites. Historically we are the underdog and now we are shoe ins for promotion. This worries me. We are in the second half of the season which is bandit country for us. We have a good manager, really motivated and likeable players, the crowds are coming back........it's too good to be true.....something is out there.....

Typical

I know exactly what you mean. Just because we are Charlton fans doesn't give us an excuse not to be paranoid. I keep looking over my shoulder so much at the moment people think I have got a twitch!

I think both Huddersfield and Wednesday are gonna have to pray that us and Sheffield United lose our two games in hand else I fear that the title and maybe even second spot could become a two horse race

Do you think that Llera will come out and claim that Exeter winning was down to luck again??

We've been top of the table since the 17th September 2011 - absolutely astounding.

Next Saturday, that makes it five months with everyone chasing us.

All the Stattos out there - I suppose 1999-2000 must be closest, but have we ever been in this position before?

It was mentioned on the O/S during the week that if we win two more away games that breaks the record for most away wins in a season for Charlton and we only need to win 9/10 more games to break the home and away record for wins both of which were set in 99/00 and by one of Jimmy Seed's seasons

I'd be interested in knowing what our record points total currently is (though that shouldnt be hard to find out)

Megsons after match comments about his players on the BBC site are priceless....

That will make the journey back from Exeter seem even longer for them

" ...a lot of our players at the moment are not playing in the right manner...we've got a few (players) who think they're a lot better than they are and they've got to start shaping themselves up."

Wrong, Mugson - you've got to start shaping them up. It's what a real manager does.

Donkey.

Reading Owlstalk, it seems that a number of Wendies have turned on Gary Madine.

It's interesting that, we have kept faith and kept singing about BWP, despite his goal drought, whereas Madine goes a few games without scoring and demands that he be dropped start surfacing.
