To be fair, Pat, with injuries and formation etc he didn't really have a concerted run to prove himself.....
I agree,we don't play football that suits him and he did have injuries, but as soon as he goes back to Everton he scores and is fit.I'm pleased he has scored, but why did we him if he doesn't fit in with our style of play?
Is a little unfair. Had some good performances in Europe, more defensive minded than our other wide players. Injury free, he would have a role at the Lane.
The most logical reason is that his strength is tucking in and covering for Baines to get forward. Perhaps 'Arry was considering having Bale bomb forward from left back (or perhaps play him on the right, with Walker coming forward) but ditched the idea for whatever reason?
Pienaar's performance has shown up the degree to which Harry can be tactically inept, sometimes. That's not taking anything away from Harry with what he's best at, I'm merely expressing one of my minor frustrations with him.
Woo hoo!!!! MON, unlike Queen Kenny, is a true gentleman and a genuine saviour! Can't wait for the suicide notes to start appearing on the Gooners' board!
Chelsea's decline is encouraging - 14 pts from last 10 games or something. Hats off to the Goons on coming back today. Damn them!! Ok - time to FOCUS..........
1-2 to Arsenal You twat, MON! You're no better than Queen "don't tell me Suarez is a fcuking racist" Kenny! And you know what's worse? If we beat the Toon tonight, we'll be doing Arsenal a favour! Unbelievable!
