We had a new thread posted last night by Dogmeatman asking why you support Spurs. It's turning into a great thread with some interesting stories. It's Dogmeatman's first post so well done to him <ok> and it shows the value of new posters bringing fresh life to the board. It also prompted a couple of new posters to try their hand at joining in, good to see.

So the purpose of this thread is to encourage all of you who just look and read (we know you're there) to join in the debates, the more voices the better it gets.

You will have noticed there are already a number of very regular contributors, yeah I know some are bit scary, but worry not, the mods. on this board are here to see fair play. We want to see the number of contributors growing and we have taken steps recently to make sure that people are not personally abused. Of course the banter between clubs will always get heated, attack away, but personal abuse will be deleted.

So here is a welcome to all Spurs fans to add their thoughts and ideas to the board and we also welcome fans of other clubs to visit, keep it reasonable and help to make it fun.

So come on stop lurking and get posting and join the party <party>

I rather suspect that most of the lurkers are Chelsea fans who have logged out in order to browse our board incognito, in order to check out what I'm up to. Having banned me from their board, they are probably bored silly that no one is posting anything interesting or thought-provoking, and they are too ashamed of themselves to post here for fear of admitting that they made a massive mistake <laugh>

It's a football site not Match.com. It'd be weird if we all put photos of ourselves up for no reason. Plus we're trying to get more people to post not scare them away so for God's sake don't let Notso do it! <yikes>
