No it doesn't 'hurt'. On average we now finish about two places behind you. For the first half of my life it was the other way around. Big deal. But if I supported a team just because they were successful I would have had to change a few times in my life. I like the ethos of Tottenham Hotspur, the way we've always tried to play football the right way even when we've not had the highest quality players. Since Wenger, Arsenal do the same thing and I usually enjoy watching them: if they win I enjoy the good football, if they lose better still!

I don't think either fans can boast about their respective seasons. Spurs scraped 4th place after they had a really good start and middle and Arsenal scraped 3rd courtesy of a Spurs capitulation and a pants Premier league season for Chelsea. The best thing to do is clear your throat, shake hands and walk off......
Hear, Hear! Agree 100%, there is nothing to crow about stumbling across the line to claim 3rd spot, really finishing in 3rd spot really feels hollow particularly on the evidence of our performances this season. The Manchester clubs have raised the bar!
