Firstly, as a Man City fan, I come in peace, and I am here merely to ask a question. As I am constantly being asked about away fan-friendly pubs and bars, I thought I would hear it straight from the horse's mouth, and ask you. So, do you know of pubs and bars in close proximity to Carrow Road, which cater for away fans. I would appreciate names and the road they are on. Thanks in advance.
The Compleat Angler opposite the train station is the 'away' pub and is approx 10 mins walk from the ground OTBC
If you head up to riverside at Norwich you aren't going to get a huge ammount of hassle. Theres always plenty of away fans at the queen of iceni (my haunt) and usually a good ammount of banter as well. Hopefully its a good game!
If you're a fan of real ale, check out the Coach and Horses (make sure it's the one on Thorpe Road http://www.thecoachthorperoad.co.uk/), as there are others. If you head down Stracey Road, turn left at the bottom and follow the crowd, you'll be near the away end when you get to the ground.
