Maybe this is the card that he is holding close to his chest - Rangers big move into English football.

There's good fund raising potential there, cos there's car boot sales quite regularly and the demographics would be quite similar to Govan - the less desirables live all a round the ground <ok>
 
Cossy I think you have hit the nail on the head. This is the second English link in about a month.
Were we not told about Rangers opening an office in London, explained by the need to explore
foreign talent and ways to bring in money from abroad. I don't know why Rangers would have to
open a London Office for those stated reasons.
It does make sense if Rangers could amalgamate these minnows with a larger club, maybe in lower
leagues or even below league level and then when exited from SPL the former SPL "giants" could join up
and be given a place somewhere in the English League. Much more palatable than starting off at bottom
of Scottish League.
