To go a goal down at home to Millwall is no biggy, they're not a bad side. To come from a goal down to lead 2-1 with less than 20 mins to play, then to lose the game, that's not acceptable, and Nigel said so himself. We are giving away far too many goals, and we need to tighten up. that's not being negative, that's being realistic.

We still have a great side, and it's a great time to be a Saint, but this wobble needs correcting.

The worrying this is also the fact that we were clearly trying, and at home. So why aren't we winning at home when we're trying, is the big question?

Also, why are teams constantly scoring first against us (and occasionally second, sometimes third), even at home? I know how bad it was for the years and years when Saints would chuck away leads and concede last minute goals. That's still only relatively recently been seemingly rinsed out of our DNA. BUt as someone else mentioned on here, why do we take so long to get started. Once we concede, we're on the backfoot, and the opposition get a whole lot of confidence - they know they just need to lock Rickie out of the game (getting him sent off, as Brighton did; or marking him out of the game) and they've got a good chance of getting something from us. Which is why our new forward line should do wonders, once they get going.

What, in third position, two points off second?!

I get your drift, though. Imagine if they'd started well, they'd be running away with it.

My point exactly. Had they not been hindered by it who knows how far ahead they might be now
