  1. Can't honestly see Liverpool doing the sensible thing as regards the weekend game, when King Kenny is still openly condemning the FA ban on his prize little monster! Only surprised that he wasn't still wearing the 'Free the Saurez One' T shirt......

    Frightening level of conceit

Glad there seems to be 1 sensible Liverpool fan on here. The strange thing is Liverpool score more goals when he isn't playing. Not sure he is really helping your team as much as many fans think.

It could be that, with Suarez out of the picture, the rest of the team raise their game to compensate for his absence, much in the same way they do when Gerrard is out injured for a length of time.

The question this raises is why their players only raise their game like this when one of them is missing? If they did so more consistently, their form would be more consistent.

Egos and team balance could also be factors, Croydon.
Despite putting in a decent performance tonight, the Liverpool side showed various signs of disharmony during the game.
Carroll and Bellamy were both making frequent, aggressive comments to their team mates and Spearing told Carroll to **** off on at least one occasion, in reaction to it.
Could just be frustration at failing to break us down, but it could also be more than that. Time will tell.

Who was quiet on Bale's dive?
It was poor and we don't like to see it, as has been said on at least two other threads.
Probably better than intentionally booting other players in the stomach though, eh?

No. Yellow for diving and that's it.
Skrtel initiated the confrontation. He should've picked up a second yellow for his studs up challenge on Friedel, by the way.

I don't think anyone is being quiet about Bale,in fact it was brought up on the match thread I think. He has got into a bad habbit of diving and I'm sure most Spurs fans don't like it.
Lovely comment btw(simian saviour).Better than a guilty racist with a taste for human meat and Kung-Foo kicks.

Both straight reds. Madness not to give it. That said, Adebayor got away with one too.

Can't understand why Liverpool see Suarez as their savior, he very rarely shows the form he should (when he's not suspended).
Maybe some of his teamates should look at Kuyt- he gives 100% and very rarely gets in trouble with the authorities, yet Suarez resorts to thuggery if things don't go his way.

    1. Bale's dive was pathetic and his reaction even poorer, deservedly received a yellow card but no player in history (from what I can rememebr anyway) has received a red for that and therefore anyone claiming it should have been are just bitter and arrogant and are using their excuse as a means to take the light off of Suarez's kick.

    2. Suarez is a vile c*nt, as 'Pool fans I appreciate you support him regardless and I can accept that, all teams do the same for their own players but his kick on Parker was NOT accidental, his eyes were not on the ball, had they been he wouldn't have made the kick as it was obvious Parker was getting his head to it.

    3. When I initially saw Skrtel's challenge I thought foul and probably a yellow card as in all honesty after Bale's theatrics previously I thought it may have been more simulation (not that he does that regularly because he genuinely doesn't), after watching the replay however, Skrtel's leg was extremely high (as proved by the graze on Bale's shin) and I think had the ref truly seen the incident, could well have produced a red card, though I don't believe Skrtel meant to go in with intent and I think giving the benefit of the doubt, a yellow was fair, personally I don't like seeing players sent off unless it's truly worthy of a red/ second bookable offence.

    4. No there's no 4... :) In all seriousness, you guys probably felt it was two points dropped more so than a point gained as I felt you were better on the night but I suppose Bale's one-on-one with Reina could/ should have seen a Spurs victory. Very bad night for our sheep-shagging wizard it has to be said.

Go and look at the Skrtel challenge again. Yes his foot was high. However, he won the ball cleanly. In fact the ball was well gone before any contact was made with Bale. However it could be argued that bale should not have been on the pitch before that incident (a yellow for simulation and a second yellow for violent behaviour against Agger).

As for Suarez then your description of him is your own. Neither you nor I know what was going through his mind and therefore your claim that it was not accidental is mere SUPPOSITION.

Suarez pushes Parker moments before kicking him, he knows exactly where he is and his eyes are on Parker and not the ball when he kicks him.

Notso I think your eyesight might be challenged if you think Parker nudged him. Suarez pushed Parker, not the other way round - and it wasn't a nudge. Realised he couldn't get the ball and lashed out. No mechanism for banning him, but deserves another 3 game ban for that.

Your eyesight is really impared if you think that the picture you posted proves that Suarez is looking at Parker (who by the way is no angel himself). He does know what he is - an excellent footballer. He is looking directly at where his foot is in the expectation that the ball will drop there.
