This is an exclusive club with membership confined to only those who have posted (in advance, on this forum) a winner at 20/1 or more. To be included in the list a link to the post where the horse was tipped must be included.

I would be grateful if all those with such winners could add them below.

At the end of each season (defined as the last day counted for the appropriate jockey championship) I will publish the accumulated level stake profit for each member and list all included selections. Interim listings may also be published on request.

Thank you
Ron

Garstang went in on this day Ron

Kempton 4.25 Palace Moon 5-1
This is a very interesting horse as he is 5-1 getting weight from horses who quite frankly would never have found themselves in the company he has. Palace Moon has won well contested listed races and been sent off with big weights in such handicaps as the Bunbury cup and Wokingham and still gone very close. Were this race run 18 months ago he would be short odds on, last year he simply did not fire nor seem in love with racing anymore, should he return with he's old zest however 5 -1 will seem like the bet of the year as he will be unbeatable, this was a class horse. I cannot pass it up and so have just taken the 5's best odds.

I actually quite like the Kempton card for betting purposes today and so have taken some early prices (all best odds guaranteed ) through the card.

2.20 Garstang 20-1 EW
2.50 Hurricane Hymnbook 7-1
3.25 Shaunas Spirit 2-1 Nap
3.55 Fire in Babylon 5-2
4.25 Palace Moon 5-1

Sounds like the makings of a new comp Ron :)

Only winners of 20-1 and over count. Sucks to have an 18-1 then <laugh>

Did you have an 18/1 SP winner Reebok? We could make it the 18 and over club. Sounds more like a movie category.

Ron... From Friday

Interested in taking on speedy yaki in the last, gonna have a nibble on homeward strut, first time blinkers in handicaps for the first time too, big price but pointless backing the fav

Returned sp. of 50/1, I also got 50/1.

Are you planning to keep track of all tips from people with a 20/1 shot or above winner?

Its posted in Fridays thread, page 9, want the link?

Yep. Well it's an idea that might be worth trying. Might have a Nearly Club too. Could have all sorts of clubs (I'll be in the Can't Find a Winner Club).

The links would be nice usually but I'll have no trouble finding that one FD, thanks.

Two years ago i went to Ayr for the Gold Cup and took my better half as well... Second race in was the Silver Cup and my missus picked Colonal Mak out as 'one she fanceid...' I said ok but i dont see it but what about Sonny Red, thats the same odds... She took my 'advice' and i put her donation towards the race on Sonny Red...

Colonel Mak hosed up at 33/1...!!!!

Though Sonny Red did come 3rd...

Dont know if you want to start a nearly list but that is one that gets mentioned a lot if i have a bad week and my missus picks one out of the crowd and wins...<laugh>

How far can we go back RON? I tipped MAKFI for the Guineas when it won at 33-1 on the old board.................

Oh we can go back ?
Right I'm in then - I backed Mister Baileys at 25s to win the 2000 Guinneas about 20 years ago, and around the same time I backed Winnie the Witch to win the County hurdle at 33s.
Christ I'm a judge <laugh>

I selected Last Suspect for the Grand National at 66/1. Won at 50/1 SP. So we'll go back that far.
<laugh>

I laid ArkleSupreme a large brown envelope on Kauto Star at 1/6 is the Weatherbys Bank Novices' Chase, 3.15 Exeter, on Monday January 31 2005. I was quite nervous when Ruby remounted but good old Mistral de la Cour managed to hold on.

Well, I think our bets pale into insignificance when compared to Nass's coup.
.
Incidentally, I've been a bore and edited the thread to clarify what qualifies.

I can't remember if they ran or walked Nass. Don't complicate matters.
