Got to say I am getting a tad concerned regards our championship status,Brighton we deserved nought and got nought,Reading we were the better side and got nought,Leeds again we were in control and looked the better side, untill the double whammy sending offs.

Big concern regards gaining the points to move us clear,we have two months of very very hard games home and away.

I think it going to be squeaky bum time until the end.

A lot depends on who and how many DM is allowed to bring in on loan. As he obviously doesn't rate Brett, another striker perhaps.

Anyone know how long Marv is out for...?

Yes very strange regards BP,DM on one hand says BP is going no where, yet he still not on his radar.

I can see BP requesting a transfer, personally would not blame him at all.
It must have been a kick in the gooleys when Maynard was given the nod each time.

I don't hold with that, Maynard is a better striker than Brett, period and you play your best team regardless of any issues off pitch however, when the 2 did occasionally play together, I saw a very bright pairing up front with Brett seeming to instinctive knowing where Nicky was going to go

Very sad that they never really got the chance to play together much because Brett was the one bloke who could feed Nicky's runs and make him dangerous...

The last 12 games have amassed 11 points and 1 cup defeat.

'going to be squeaky bum time until the end' - Not wrong.

I am worried about how we are playing but think we will stay up as there as teams worse off than us. I do think the manager how got plenty wrong but its his first season in this league and he seems to be a person who will learn from his mistakes. We all know that this season is about staying up then hopefully rebuilding in the summer when the board needs to back the manager to rebuild from the ground upwards as more than half the squad needs to move on to free up space to bring new and better players in.

DM needs to pick a formation and then have 2 players that fill each position and if James is to stay he needs to take a 2/3 pay cut

I think it will be tight, but I think Del will motivate the players enough to keep us up. Worse comes to the worst and we go down, I think Del is the man to rebuild the club from top to bottom and by god we need it from scouting, youth coaching right through to the first team players...

We cannot afford to go down, period.

There are already some big clubs in L1 such as both Sheffield's, Charlton, Huddersfield, Preston, and only 3 of them will come up this year at most (Preston won't obviously!), and that's assuming they can keep going.

Should the likes of Forest and Coventry get relegated from the Championship this season then the task becomes that much harder to bounce back next time. I don't care what it takes or if we have to pay silly wages to quality loanees to keep us away from the bottom 3, but relegation is not only costly financially, it will probably put any thoughts of a new stadium on permanent hold and it could take years and years to get back to this level again.

The results are very concerning redrobin as you well point out. We just don't seem capable of getting it right no matter who we play and getting 3 players sent off in 2 games won't help the cause. The next 4 or 5 games are now crucial because we need to add some points in the table to continue upwards and not downwards.

Derek has a tough task on his hands and I'm sure no-one has to remind him of that fact. Our goal scoring has been very below par all season and it needs to improve dramatically to get us nearer safety. Doesn't look like Pitman is to be included in the potential scoring group ans wonder whether he will move on soon. Let's hope that Derek has some aces up his sleeve to improve the situation quickly and bring us a higher position.

The injuries and suspensions aren't going to help the cause at a very critical time in our season, and history, because failure is not an option under any circumstances, is it?

This. The teams below us are worse. Can't see Donny or Coventry surviving this season which leaves one spot for the likes of us, Forest, Ipswich, Millwall et al. Gut instinct is that Forest will go down.

Need a serious rebuild come summer.

    Wize - What's going on ? I've suddenly dropped 6 or 7 levels on here ?????

I was on level 25 or 26 but I'd noticed it was taking ages to go up through the bar at that level but my profile now says I'm on level 19............?

Angelic, you are not going to believe this but I've dropped 20 levels, the owner Maltese Mick had recently changed server and has also moved from Jersey to the Isle of Man,he has taken 3 weeks off and has no access to the internet, his only contact is by mobile, all this means an element of lost control has taken place.

Some of us have been aware of the situation for a while and have been chasing it through cyprussyd who is the senior mod,Mick and Sid assure us that we should just keep using the forum as normal, all points and levels will be returned to there rightful place in due course and all points earned in the mean time will be added.

That is about as much as I can inform you I know no more, except to repeat it's happened to all of us,any major changes and I'll put up an information notice but for now please carry on as normal....

Steve's abandoned us for Rugby. It's a sinking ship! Run!
Let's all become Rovers supports or better yet, Mancunians. They seem to be doing well.

I've gotta' start making my sarcasm more subtle.
