Capello is **** scared of Terry after the World cup debacle when Terry basically organised a few of his mates within the team and shafted him. He can't just get rid of him because of the backlash from Terry's mates (strangely all white).

His judgement is totally flawed, if he is publicly stating he is not accepting the FA decision they have no option but to sack him. All this in the week that Harry Redknapp, favourite to replace Capello could end up doing time! You couldn't make it up...

FA should sack him outright. He's their employee and this is well out of order. Neil Warnock for England!

Surely the decision to drop Terry should be Capello's and Capello's only. I agree with him being dropped but I think it's wrong of the FA to go over his head. I certainly wouldn't be happy if Tony Fernandes forced Hughes into doing something. If Capello feels that strongly about it then he'll walk but that would involve giving up £6m a year for a part-time job.

Isnt his contract up at the end of Euro 2012? If so it would cost virtually nothing to sack him and get another manager in.

Having toxic Terry in the squad could mean things go pear shaped very quickly, if I was Rio, Id refused to play if Terry was picked. In fact id probably do that if I were any player in the squad.

This highlights the lack of leadership by the FA, Capello, and, most significantly, Terry himself.

The FA should have forced the issue as soon as the February court date was announced rather than leave it till now. Capello, if he was a good man-manager would've taken Terry to one side and told him he would not be picked whilst the case remained 'live', but give Terry the option to stand down himself and Capello could then have said it was Terry's decision and supported him with 'innocent till guilty' quote. And Terry himself, if he really cared about the team, would've stood down from the team until the case was over and won some respect from all concerned instead of just thinking of himself, as usual.

We now have a major team-splitting crisis four months before the squad assembles for the Euros, and the possibility of a caretaker manager being brought in. Don't be surprised if Trevor Brooking is brought in for the summer...

Capello is going to milk this. He now has a ready made excuse when his Englad team fail to perform in the Euros.

"Well, you see, it has been very difficult for the players with all the upset over John Terry. I think we could have won if it had not been for that."

    I can hear it now.

    Absolutely, full agree.

No worries though, Sir Neil will lead England to glory in classic "Mike Bassett: England Manager" style!

I guess there are 2 ways of keeping your name in the press, sprouting complete bollocks to the press or capello (and this is a hint) MANAGING A SIDE THAT WNS A MAJOR TOURNAMENT)
    was my hint subtle enough???

Poor old Joey "I can play for England" Barton. NW for England? If that happened he could play like Messi and wouldn't get picked!

Add Lampard, Cashley, Stevie GBH and Barry to that list and we might even make the quarter finals. Time to clean the crap out.

Cole is still our best left back by a mile and Garrard should be fresh as he's been out a lot, being imo the best English attacking midfielder.
