You could be right - I forgot Jose only goes where the money is. If Utd finally sort their yank owners out I'll stick with my prediction, that's unlikely though. So yeah City is the obvious one
My god you Spurs boys really don't understand jokes do you, Jeez, how else would you plan on being a monkeys uncle if you wern't going to adopt one / buy one? Unless you'd get your brother to get a female monkey pregnant so you'd be the baby monkeys uncle
Would have Jose back in a flash can't see it happening though; sticking point would be Roman, lack of available funds and control, one of the Manchester clubs would be favourite IMO. What I miss is the mindset, the mental toughness that was a consistent theme with Jose's sides. At this moment in time I look at AVB and all I can see is a side lacking in motivation & goals ending with a disappointing 5/6 th finish; the only thing that is stopping AVB from being propelled through the revolving door is the thought of shelling out another chunk of change in compensation.
Why would the worlds best coach eye up a small club who have won bugger all of note for 50 years and counting. Mourinho would not consider any place who would hold the purse strings and pay below par wages. He would never be able to attract the type of players with a Mickey Mouse club.
Jose will never go to a club that doesn't have unlimited funds.Unfortunately, I think that now rules us out. It's Citeh for Jose I'm afraid. But hey, he only stays a year before chasing the filthy lucre somewhere else. He manages to find an "Abramovich " type to fall out with wherever he goes. Two big egos don't fit into one Club. I think we're stuck with AVB for at least another season, hopefully minus the old, tired, lazy ,greedy ex Mourinho players. Then we can see if he's really got it or not.
Firstly, he isn't the worlds' "best" coach, although I will agree that he is one of the best. Secondly, we are not a small club, and I certainly doubt that Jose would see us as such. Thirdly, the fact that we have not won a major title for so long, but are clearly capable of doing so, is the very reason why he would see us as the ideal challenge. Your insult rather betrays your bias, with this pathetic comment. I simply do not accept that Jose will only go to a club that has unlimited funds. That's like saying he is too uncertain of his own abilities unless that ability is backed up with the crushing might of money. In any event, we are not a poor club, not by a long chalk. Our wage structure currently makes it difficult for us to hold onto the class players that we spot, buy and nurture, but all that will soon be changing, firstly with the introduction of the fair play rules, and secondly with the building of our new stadium. When Jose sits down and surveys the football landscape, looking for a club that has been a sleeping giant for 50 years, his eyes will rest on Spurs, and he will consider us an ideal challenge. Of course, there are many Spurs fans who would not want him at our club, as they consider his football to be too dull and defensive. Perhaps he is more suited to Chelsea than Spurs, I don't know...
I often find the term 'sleeping giant' is code for 'small club' Josè wouldn't touch your club with a barge pole, especially since about 70% of the transfers are down to mr wide boy himself D.Levy.
I also agree with that Drogs Spurs are too small a club for Jose to be even remotely interested in How their silly supporters can say they're not after one good half a season is beyond belief.
Classic spurs dillussion. Jose is probably the most sought after manager in world football. He's just managed Inter Milan and now Real Madrid. Frankly Spurs aren't even on the same page as them clubs. He wants to go down as a legend in the game who managed the very best. But on top of that, he is a guy who wants to win and to give himself the best chance he needs money. Therefore that rules you out on two counts. You don't have enough money to pay his wages or buy the players he'd want and on top of that you are nowhere near a big enough club for a manager in his enviable position. City have the money so could be them but I think he wants the United job so depends on when Whiskey Nose stands aside I guess. He may come back to us purely due to unfinished business but he certainly wont be going to you. Real Madrid to Spurs? Jesus wept.
I don't see why that should exclude his managing Spurs. Sure, having a bottomless pit of cash is great, but it doesn't guarantee success, certainly not in our league. If Jose wants to go down as a legend, he's not going to achieve it by winning titles with teams that any manager could have managed and achieve exactly the same thing. Plus, if he fails to win the league, despite having as much cash as he can spend, he'll end up looking like the world's greatest loser. It's a double-edge sword. Whereas, with Spurs, he gets a class act, with a great history, a fantastically balanced squad, a rich owner who can splash the cash if and when he wants to, and (more importantly for Jose) a team that is currently proving that it has the credentials to be a great side. On top of all this, you lads seems to be forgetting something vital, here. When the Fair Play rules kick in, Jose simply will not have the luxury of spending endless amounts of cash - no club will be permitted to do that. The playing field will be leveled, and Spurs will stand just as much chance of landing the key players as any other club in Europe. The fact that Spurs is already challenging for the title against sides that can blow us out of the water, as far as spending goes, proves exactly why Jose would want to take charge of us. Sorry, but I cannot see that happening. The Russian oligarch burnt all the bridges. It's far more likely that Jose would love to take over the reins at Spurs should Harry be forced to relinquish them, and to preside over your trouncing, to prove something to his former employer. I would agree, that the chances of his coming to us are slim, but I do not share your certainty.
So much nonsense so little time. Spurs haven't got a 'great history'. You've won less titles than clubs like Sunderland and Blackburn Get a grip. As for rich owner, whats the most spurs have ever spent on a player? You can't (and don't) compete at the top end of the market. Fact. To be a great side, you have to win trophies not a few games. You have shown nothing that says you are or will be a 'great side'. As for Roman burning his bridges, it's common knowledge that Roman and Joes still get on very well. The chances of him going to you aren't slim, they are non-existent. You're not even the biggest club in North London let alone of the stature of club Jose claims. And to top it all, would he risk his legend status with the Chelsea fans to manage your bunch of flash in pans?? I very much doubt it. So to conlude, he wont manage you because: - - You aren't a big enough club - You don't have the money to pay his wages - You don't have the money to buy top players - You are about 5th down the list of clubs he'd go if he even came back to England - He wouldn't damage his reputation with the Chelsea fans (where he has most enjoyed working) - Madrid to Spurs - Ha de ****ing Ha.
And...you wont need a new manager anyway as Harry has probably burnt his bridges with the f.a due to his criminality.
