I honestly think with the boost of a new manager we could well go up through the play-offs...

    GK: Lonergan
    RB: Smith/Connolly
    CB: Lees
    CB: O'Brien
    LB: White
    RM: Snodgrass
    CM: Clayton
    CM: Delph/Thompson
    LM: Townsend
    ST: McCormack
    ST: Becchio/Somma

Were still only 3 points off the play-offs

Somma is on his way back

The new manager may be the lift we need

    Paynter returns! <diva>

On a side note, anyone going Coventry away? Applied for my ticket, could be our first match with our new manager and its my first ever night game! <diva>

If we can hit the ground running, the next five fixtures should bag us 15 points and in to the play offs. We need to get some momentum going and maybe the sacrifice of SG could be the catalyst.

Maybe that pinpoint striking accuracy of his was missing when he was wearing football boots and not socks and sandals.

I hate to point this out but... that this is virtually the same team that got thrashed by Birmingham, not far off the team that scraped past ten men 2/3 times and managed only a draw in another and we have Delph for just one month, not that he made a difference to Tuesdays result... Are you expecting a new manager to have a magic wand?

Your technically correct...but if we do well that will certainly show up just how useless Grayson was at setting up a team... I can't wait to find out, at last we have something to look forward to !!!

I for one am feeling positive cos lets face it, it couldn't be much worse .. (unless ince arrives of course !)

So you are actually an idiot then? We've got one of the smallest budgets in the league, it's a miracle we're as high up as we are!

Actually, Millwall, Barnsley, Forest, Palace, Doncaster, Coventry, Peterborough, Watford, Bristol City, Blackpool, Reading & Brighton have smaller budgets <ok>

So doyono5's an idiot for having the temerity to say he's 'feeling positive' on 'The Positive Thread'?
If you're feeling negative Simon perhaps you should start up your own 'Negative Thread' , n'est-ce pas?

No, for saying it couldn't be much worse, it could be much, much worse with the way Bates is running the club.

On the contrary, Leeds have a bigger budget than all of those - In fact you have a bigger budget than Millwall and Peterborugh combined <yikes>

FFS Bates must be haemoraging money into Leeds United <yikes>

TC failing to prove things again. No doubt we'll get some Mystic Meg **** with a list of what our players 'must' be on, completely forgetting we have the highest turnover in the league and have spent less than almost all those clubs on transfer fees.

We're on a lower midtable budget.
