I'm sorry PNP, our big spending days are over now as confirmed by Bruce Buck yesterday in the Times...you had your chance
I don't know what's put Abramovich off spending big. The £76m that you splashed out on Torres and Luiz in last year's January window was excellent value, in my opinion.
your right SW6 we didnt bid for him..but he did push the move thinking he was walking into a trophy laden team...to be quite honest i find him to be a bit of a manic depressive who makes me suicidal every time i see his face...like its everyones fault but his....surely in one whole year...he cant blame the rest for his failure to convert....im sure hes had more than 2 chances...another spoiled idiot who doesnt know how to love that what made him his riches...he needs to man up.
I never realised he moaned to the ref as much until I saw him play for us...according to the scouse lads on here he did it all the time up there, but also banged goals in so they didn't mind to much.
i saw him do it a plenty for the scousers...but in his last season..the rest of the team was on suicide watch..i think an evetual move back to spain beckons for him
Arsenal fans are planning to use bin-bags to protest against the club's poor run of results. Fans will highlight the number of empty red seats at Emirates Stadium during Saturday's match against Blackburn by covering them with black bin liners. please log in to view this image http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/new...protest-at-Blackburn-match-article860647.html
Hmmm. I posted this 'mini-article' a while back expressing some of my thoughts on the Abramovich approach in contrast to the Mansour approach. Having read this little ditty I can't help but feel vindicated. Notice that these comments were made 2.5 months ago... Ladies and Gentlemen, I thank you.
Turnbull is from Boro, another purchase. You could argue Terry was West Ham's product, but he was very young when he moved.
Right now, Liverpool are desperately hoping that Chelsea and Newcastle fielded an ineligible player in the Premier League sometime this season...
Blackburn succumbed to Arsenal in the first minute! They are absolutely useless, and cannot even stand up against an ailing Arsenal side. It's going to be a cricket score for Arsenal, and Kean will be sacked. Still, it gives us all the incentive we need to beat Liverpool and Klanfield.
Arsenal winning 1-0 Van Persie goal. I missed the first 3 minutes but there's no doubt Blackburn don't stand a chance. There's already players faking injury to escape the cold.
aah well we will just have to deal with being only 9 points..thats right just a measly 9.... ahead of them until Monday evening
Against the run of play, too! Let's see how much that crushes Gooner spirit! [Edit] Even as I was writing the above, Arsenal commit a dreadful foul and Blackburn are forced to substitute a player, and they immediate score. Bollocks!
