I don't know but **** me you went on so much you must be! Ask your missus and kids do they like it when you have to explain something? That's my question So you can have the next question
eh eh... calm down calm down View attachment 10035 I'm going to carry on... City have always given top class pre-match entertainment, my question goes back to that hot'76, who/what was the entertainment before taking on West Ham? a clue, it wasn't Gary Glitter, as he was entertaining the young robins.
Funny thing CJS numerous rovers 'fans' flocked to Ashton Gate when we were in the top flight, so the question is open to City and rovers fans!
i didnt know that. i wasnt born until early 80's. i know there were some who watched both city and rovers - whoever was at home, but thought that was it
Massive is right. We lost a big slice of a generation of fans glory hunting when they reached the top flight. I was only a young kid but where I lived was staunch Rovers. You'd never see a red but in the late 70's they started to appear We used to bully the ****s in my school
funny in my school we used to win and then the year 11's would come over and tell us if we didnt let them play they would beat us up still remember those bastards be about 34 of us on the goal line.......
Large crowds flocked to AG where many great players in those days were on show, apart from the City team every club had super stars, I always admired the silky skills of Frank Worthington...of course if you had rather watched Frankie Prince at the dog **** track ground with the other 2,000 fans.... their loss .
Norman Hunter,Terry Cooper,Joe Royal and Peter Cormack plus all of our own boys, down the Miners arms, onto the gate and afterwards up the Avon Packet, chips,Green Un and home, match of the day, what a day.. C'mon you REDS......
