I've read posts and that is the way it comes across, then the 2nd I say things on a thread about a Newcastle player that you disagree with you say I'm bitter and twisted <yikes>.

Yes, you are. And excruciatingly boring, too.

"Houston the moron has landed!"

He lashed out with the intention of kicking him somewhere??????
The only thing in front of his boot was the guys face!

Oh come on man at least I admitted he did actually kick him on purpose.

They were rolling around on the floor though, and Cabaye wasn't even looking, he just lashed his foot out to try and kick him. Watch the tackle again.

There is no way on earth any player would intentionally try and full force boot someone in the mush like that. Even in a moment of extreme anger. It can cause serious injury. He just lashed out to try and kick him, but it still deserves a 3 game ban anyway.

No wonder your lass ****ed off you boring ****.

Go and **** yourself Billy. What an absolute arsehole for stooping that low over something like this.

Just heard him defending Cabaye the dirty little twat.
"He was trying to stop the player falling on him and caught him in the mouth."

It was clearly a deliberate kick in the face by a petulant little ****er.
Take your punishment puppet Partridge and shut the **** up!
haha but when lennon nutted shearer's foot, erm........

And there is no way on earth that you are in a position to state that as being a fact. It's entirely possible.

You lot are all do pathetic, have you nowt better to do with your sad lives than trade insults hidden behind the comfort of your keyboard, douche bags honestly

You need to back out of the thread slowly and **** off and read something more to your taste bonny lad. <ok>

Leave us to play with our mates from up the road. <ale>

Well I hope it isn't the case here, and I don't think it is. They were both in the middle of tumbling over the top of each other when Cabaye lashed out, and he wasn't even looking where his foot was going. His boot actually originally hit the other players knee before skimming off it and eventually hitting his face as they were rolling over.

He definitely kicked out in my view though, so as much as it pains me to say, it's a 3 match ban.

Why not appeal then?

Another stupid question, I'm getting good at those.

So the player was lucky Cabayes lash out at his face was reduced, because of his attempted maiming caught his knee first. <ok>

Why not appeal then?

Uhh, we did. Brighton's player even backed us in the appeal.

But I don't even get the question anyway, as I still think it was a deliberate kick deserving of a ban. I just don't think he tried to full-force boot him in the face. I just think that while they were tumbling, he lashed out in a kick, regardless of where it would land.

Still a ban though.

My whole point is Partridges bleating and whining and claiming he was only trying to stop the player falling on him!
Clearly untrue and embarrassing.

Yeah I don't agree with that. I suppose as a manager though you have to back your player if he's adamant it was not an intentional kick.

Pardew saying all this is probably more to do with internal man-management than actually any attempt to get the ruling overturned or to change peoples minds. It's quite clearly a kick.

If you appealed did they not add an extra game to the ban Chappaz?

No, so they mustn't have seen the appeal as frivolous, otherwise they would have.

I think Brighton's player backing Cabaye probably helped a lot towards that.

In fairness, Pardew seems to be one of the most honest managers out there, especially in post match interviews when managers can be at their most twisted while emotions are still running high. He generally will accept when the opposition should have had a panalty or will accept when we were fortunate to get a penalty annd so on. Something seems to have genuinely annoyed him here
