Pretty sure cabaye had a high kick on Bardsley in the derby and didnt get punished, so that must excuse Bardsleys red card on Collo then, as he was just retaliating for the cabaye tackle.

For me is was deliberate, petulant, and he does have a nasty streak in him, he deserved the 3 match ban, and i would be saying the same if it was one of our players as well, it wasnt, it was one of yours, but meh, wont cloud my view.

So pointing out other incidents mitigates his kick in the face?
Every player gets kicked its a contact sport, not all players are petulant little ****s like Cabaye though.

That was one mistimed tackle, that if you watched he had his eye set on the ball, this was going on a lot on the night against Brighton.

I don't think he tried to kick him in the face, but I do think he did lash out with the intention of kicking him somewhere.

Yeah course I'm because I have an opinion you disagree with, as for Pardew when we have had decisions go in our favour he has admitted unlike many other managers. Not denying that Cabaye didn't get away with one on Spearing at Liverpool earlier in the season.
But then again the Sunderland fans on here think we are all bitter and twisted and they are always right so why does this not surprise me, was it me who was on here being sympathetic when people were moaning about Bruce and other Newcastle fans were on here taking the mick, think it was.

Being correct previously does not mean you are correct this time.
When I watched it live I thought the same as I do now he deliberately kicked the guy in the face.
A panel of ex-pros reviewed the evidence from multiple angles and decided to agree with me.
But then they have no axe to grind or biased against the skunks. <ok>
 
Cabaye is a dirty coward and has got away with absolute murder this season.

I think he deserves a min 4 match ban, as it's no different to Balloteli.

Just watched it again including Partridges bleating on NE Tonight.

Cabaye grimaces and kicks him in the face.
In no way was he trying to stop the player falling on him.
