    i think if colin goes to leeds then we can call time on our snodgrass persuit <ok>

    Bates is a f*****g discrace, ive read the leeds statement and what a ludicrus way to make a statement... "leeds united today have DISPENSED with the services of simon grayson and his coaching staff" <doh>

    I hope for leeds that bates f***s off sooner rather than later and they stay way way clear of colin <ok>

    Problem is a new manager takes over, whose hands are tied, it'll make no difference as Bates is still there.

    I loathed Robert Chase with a passion, for dismantling possibly our best ever team, but compared to Ken Bates he was kind of ...a saint? <yikes>

    bates does dirty on Grayson in my opinion, whats a new manager going to achieve goin in this late, with tight arsed Bates as chairmen.

    I've read the Leeds statement about Larry's departure - Total lack of respect by Bates. He didn't deserve that.

    Saw him after the 98 Cup Final, looking over to the Newcastle fans and goading them, knew then he had no class. Plenty of other reasons not to like the guy.

    Aren't most owners, we've had Freddie Shephard and now have Mike Ashley both fall into this category. That said though I think having Ridsdale and Bates is worse.

    I wonder how long it is before Bates renames our stadium Ashley-style. I genuinely think he'd sink to that level just for another few grand towards the all-important hotel. The Obscure Investment Company No-One's Heard Of Stadium @ Elland Road. :(
