My Leeds-supporting friend claims there was a rumour going around before xmas that Bates would sack Grayson and install Di Matteo. I guess he was just waiting for the transfer window to close so the new man couldn't ask for any money to be spent.
Di Matteo would clearly be a better choice than Warnock anyway.
