    Stadium empty after fourth goal.

What a glorious era we live in; finishing ahead of Spurs for 17 seasons and counting.

Let's keep that gap to around 8 points, bash them on March 24 and overtake them mid-April

That's an interest graph. But it could, equally, be applied to the age/performance of your team.

You start out youthful, with lots of promise, and begin to rise to prominence.

Then, you hit your peak and take glory (with the help of the oligarch's billions, of course).

Finally, in the twilight of your years, you struggle to maintain the glory of former years, having to content yourself with the young Spurs pups usurping your place at the head of the table.

I don't see how this graph applies to Spurs at all this season or either of the last two seasons.
Would you care to elaborate a little more please using clear examples from recent seasons?

    Thank you

Dunno what's sadder - Chelsea fans making thread after thread about Spurs (yet always claiming we're terrible and gonna finish 5th), or the numpty who wasted precious time in their life making this graph.

    I am very chilled. =)

Jokes are far more funny when they make some sort of sense. Like stereotype jokes. This joke doesn't follow anymore.

But, whatever floats your boat :)

You've bucked the trend in the last couple of seasons.

    That is all.

A little bit of nostalgia is nice sometimes...

How could it apply to us when we WIN things? And in WIN I am talking about finishing 1st in the league and winning major trophies not finishing 4th <laugh>

Why do so many of you Spuds spend so much of your time on our board? I have never claimed you will finish 5th. You claim we are awful and terrible etc and seem to be enjoying putting one over on us and Arsenal whilst you can.

If you are in the title race (<laugh>) as so many of you claim you are then why don't you spend time goading your title rivals City and United? Why spend so much time on ours and to a lesser extent Arsenal's boards?

If you finish above us then fair play, but after quotes I have seen from HIAG, totsfan and Dona Mara, returning to this forum would be almost impossible if you did not finish above us or do not win the league and come 4th given the amount of **** half your fans have been talking.

It applies because you are now entering the third phase (when your aging squad cedes its glories to the mighty young Spurs pups).

Please do try to keep up, Mr DL.

We're still in the 3 Major competitions, Arsenal are the only other team that can say that.

You were humiliated at home to Greek plumbers hence why Spursdays are now kept free.

Trophyless again at the Lane <laugh>

  19. We're still in the FA Cup, of course, with a 6th round draw against Stevenage to look forward to.

However, I would gladly sacrifice the Cup for the EPL title.

Not that I've given up on us doing the double.

    It's possible.
