Is there a comp who can be the first one to start one I think that no daily thread , should be alllowed to posted for the next day until the last race of the day has finished
Just to make things clear . . . I have done two Daily Threads in my time on Not606, they being the 19th November (Betfair Chase) and the 26th December (King George). I hereby lay claim to the Gold Cup Daily Thread on Friday 16th March. Kauto Star will be a certainty if, and only if, I am charged with this enviable task. Anybody dissenting will find themselves at the end of a battering of abuse from forum members should the unthinkable happen and Kauto Star lose. I would not wish that upon my worst enemy, and certainly not upon my fellow forumites. Together we can bring the King home in front one final time. . . . but I am deadly serious.
As both of you guys have a barrow to push, you both should be ruled out of the reckoning. It should go to a outsider who is impartial.
I can honestly say that neither in here nor on the old 606 have I done a Daily Thread. Can I book Sunday please when it's -8, Fontwell and Musselburgh would have been called off days before and there's no sand racing.....
Well, not bothered about when threads are started, as long as it's not too early. It looks like pure cynicism, I know, but what really grabs me are the thread-starters who commence with the most massive assessment of just one horse. Sometimes over a foot long. I know, 'cos I have agreed and had a little dabble, and then, the bloody thing loses! When a contributor takes the time and trouble to do an essay worthy of Clive James, the horse just has no damn right to lose? I read once that a horse is a beautiful creature, with absolutely no sense of justice. So true............ Grizzly: Booking confirmed.............
A As it seems to give some of you problems I shall not bother starting a thread to let you know what I know for the following day. I shall wait until I and the rest of the planet have got our money on and tell you lot when its half the ****ing price OK
