A month in which every team adds at least £1m to each player's fee and drags it out as long as possible to make sure we pay them that little bit more. It's the same thing that happened with strikers in the summer, whichever thing we declare our interest in is a smokescreen because the other teams then know they can extort us.
 
This deadline day thread won't be complete until some bright spark pops up with the classic 'we can still loan players until march' or something along those lines sparking confusion, false optimisim and an allround debate as to whether that is or isn't possible!
