Agreed Carra- our striking options have been fine even without Vaughan being available.With him back fit we have plenty of back up, especially as we often play with just one up front.
Yeah he is a striker. Well I'd say most squads would aim to have 4 strikers vying for position especially if they play 2 up front so as we already have that I'd say we don't need one. However if Lambert thinks he would be an improvement on what we already have then maybe
hes a striker though can play wide i believe! Hes been very impressive this season and especially when ive seen him in action for the england u21's. i think fulham are interested in him and havent seen us linked once. i know rumours are false but i would say we are not the club interested in him 
Yeah just to clarify this is pure speculation, just saw it looks like he might leave and not the most unlikely target. Plus its more interesting than doing work

Got a feeling there could be a surprise or two later tonight, perhaps Bent to Liverpool and Villa then looking for another striker so they might be looking at him as well.

i've heard a few grumblings about his work rate (or rather lack of it). doesn't sound like a lambert sort of player but stranger things have happened. certainly knows where the net is!
