It's good news, BUT the money raised is nothing like the £400m we often hear quoted as the cost of the NDP.

AFAIK, there's a lot more cash needed yet, before they start building the stadium.

Difficulty is, unlike your good selves, we can't demolish half the surrounding area and look upon the pile of rubble as an improvement, never mind when the stadiums built so choices are limited...

Earls Court gets my vote ffs<laugh>

Battersea...honest to god... on paper it's a great prospect in terms of the actual site...nightmare to get to and it's on the wrong side of the river...

Not that I really give two turds, I live in Manchester now so rarely get to the home games...away day fan<ok>
 
Thing with you Chelsea supporters is that you all have helicopters, so getting to Battersea should not be much of a problem <ok>

If they do go to Battersea - which is in Wandsorth. It lends itself to all sorts of names;

Wandsworth Commoners <diva>

Isn't Earls Court full of Australians, Transvestites and Hookers? If so they'll fit in well if they do go end up there. Mind you the traffic's a nightmare around there <steam>
