Stone me. A right on scouser and a crackin' northern lad. The last time we had anything this good was Beattie and Ormerod. We are going up ... Cos you always need a couple of northern lads to make the team great.
 
We always do well when we have a welshman in the side and we have had some good ones. Rodrigues, Davies, Horne, Bale, etc.

Mind you I quite enjoyed it when we had my fellow Windsorian Peter Osgood in the team.

I seem to remember that one of our promising youngsters is welsh so I look forward to him playing in the first team regularly.

Perhaps an adaptation of the Ian Dury song could be used for our new strike force, following on from Kate's pun?

"They're not blinking thickies,
They're Bill and Rickie-Dickie
And they're doing rather well..."
 
John Motson reckons the signing of Sharp and pairing him with Rickie is a real statement of intent and will lead to us getting promoted.
