    Methinks they protest too much
Are Bates and Grayson in touch,
    With reality
    Just you wait and see
He´ll be worth every penny, and such..

..a boost to our already fine
Midfield, in next to no time,
    £2 million these days
Is a drop in the waves
He´ll be just one more who will shine

And talking of money well spent
Or not, I´d say Sunderland went,
    A bit OTT
    When they did agree
£8 mill was it, to replace Bent..

..with one Wickham C who I hear
Is not pulling trees up, up there,
    So £2 mill I´d say´s
    A fair price to pay
And as good a deal as anywhere. :) OTBC

Now we just need to get him fit.

They are trying to justify why they let him go and make them look like they made the right decision and to try and make Leeds look better. As you say £2mill is a bargain for a player like Howson! It's only £750k for now but if the clauses are completed it will be £2mill and the completion of the clauses are a way of showing that the £2mill is justified.

For example, if there is £500k given for 10 goals then it is proven that he can score goals and so his value should therefore be increased, from the clause.

Hope you understand what I mean!

Yep, understand what you mean perfectly wonky, just think they´re digging an even bigger hole for themselves than were in already. <laugh>

They've been obsessed with us ever since League One, it's worse then the odd City fan who seems to be paying more attention to QPR's and Swansea's season then our own.

Why on earth would any manager say that about a player that was Leeds to the core and one of their better players. Is he saying that Howson isn't worth 6% of Andy Carroll? If he wants to redeem himself with the Leeds fans he should have said he pleaded with him to stay but to no avail despite their best financial offer. Now Howson must feel slightly belittled by a club he loved.

with all the money we saved on not paying to much for Howson we will be coming back for Snodgrass in the summer , sure he wont want to be left on his own at a club with no ambition!, get your story straight Mr Bates no doubt he will be another rubbish player you will be glad to be rid of!
