    Don't shoot the messenger but i just heard we are getting Left sided center back Danny Collins on loan from Stoke City. Sensible Option

    On Solent Sport twitter NA said that he was not at the training ground:
    No comment from #saints boss Nigel Adkins to @bigadamsport about signings - but he did say Danny Collins was not at training ground

    That had been mentioned on here in passing a few days ago. Just said Collins, and I didn't know who that referred to. Then also heard today we were possibly in for a Stoke defender, so that does seem to have legs.

    The amount of threads on here would mean that it would take more time than I have.
    My info came today and as they say yesterday's news is old hat.
    In fact I have also been told by the same good source that we are looking at a Japanese guy called Lee

    This that is sooo yesterday's news is a bit tedious. Like Possum says, it's difficult to keep up with the rumours, but I have heard that Terry Paine is signing for Hereford.
