No one else has done one yet so thought I would have a go. It may not be up to scratch to start with but I will be updating it throughout the day Earlier this season: Cardiff 2-1 SAINTS (De Ridder) (Steve De Ridder also scored his first goal fir the club) My Prediction; Saints 2-1 Cardiff (Lambert and Hammond!) My team: Davis Richardson, Fonte, Martin, Harding Guly, Hammond, Cork, Lallana (if fit) Connolly, Lambert Subs: Bialkowski, Fox, Schneiderlin, De Ridder, Lee Not sure if Lallana will be fit. Also depends if the Sharp deal is complete More to follow... Whatever happens lets get behind the team, (and puncheon) and roar them on to play like we did for the first 3 months! Come On You Saints!
But good thread mate. We had such a fantastic start to the season, that the Foxes defeat stands out for me, even though we have blatantly suffered worse defeats since then. Damn you Bristol!!!!
Mustn't let Cardiff do double over us like Bristol City and Leicester., especially with Birmingham next weekend. Can't bear to be third in league (didn't think I'd be saying that at the beginning of the season). Looked at Sky Transfer news and they mentioned the leaders of the Championship and my head jerked up..got to get used to not being top (at least for moment ). Prediction: narrow win to us, even a 1.0 would be manna from heaven.
It's my birthday on Saturday and the only present I want is 6 points in the next two games ( is that to much to ask? ). Saints 2-1 Cardiff
I'm going 1-1, Fonte should be back apparently but Hooiveld is out so; Davis Richardson Martin Fonte Fox Guly Schneiderlin Cork Puncheon Lambert Connolly Subs: Bart, Harding, Hammond, Lee, De Ridder As the more experience CB, Fonte should be asked to play the unnatural left sided CB imo
My prediction for the line-up is Davis Richardson Martin Hooiveld Fox Prado Cork Schneiderlin Puncheon Connely Lambert Going for a 2-1 win COYR!!! edit (swap hoovield for fonte is hes injured other wise playing fox at the back would be dodgy)
Going to be a really tough match. I am really impressed with how Cardiff have developed so quickly under Mackay. I really didn't think Cardiff would do so well after another season of falling just short last year in conjunction with losing 8/9 decent players over the summer; however they have bought well. I think any outcome is possible tomorrow, but I think one of the most important variables is who we have fit and available to play. It is a game I think we will have chances to win but I am concerned that it could end in defeat if we are not united.
Davis Richardson, Martin, Fonte, Fox Guly, Cork, Schneiderlin, Falque Lambert, Connolly Bart, Harding, Hammond, Puncheon, Lee Both Puncheon and De Ridder were exhausted after the weekend game and I don't think either will start.
