Can't wait to hear the post match interview if they fail to turn this around against Villa. He'll be beside himself. Brilliant stuff!
£15m?? with his performances of late he's now worth a lot more than that.....will undoubtedly be a top top player....hate Arsenal
No one is to blame for the poaching of young players by top clubs other than the players themselves. Chamberlain left because he wanted to. Get over it.
I don't like Arsenal or Wenger, but it's nothing to do with them poaching our players. Partly its all the glory hunters who decided to support them back when they won stuff and partly because I just don't like Wenger.
Let's look at some of the players brought through our youth system, eh? Adam Lallana is worth more than the £3k we paid Bournemouth. Theo Walcott is worth more than the £0 we paid Swindon (barely) Alan Shearer is worth more than the £0 we paid Wallsend Boys Club How about older players? Rickie Lambert is worth more than the £1m we paid Bristol Rovers Tadanari Lee is worth more than the £0 we paid when we exploited his release clause at Hiroshima Jack Cork is worth more than the £750k we paid Chelsea. How ****ing dare Arsenal spend far more than all of these fees combined! Absolutely ****ing hate it when clubs buy players off other clubs for reasonable fees! Why can't everybody mug other teams off like we do? Arsenal truly are disgusting for paying over the odds.
I just don't like Wenger, and I enjoy watching him squirm around in interviews blaming everyone but himself for yet another season without a trophy.
Way to ignore the actual point to focus in on three words. EVERY SINGLE TEAM has at some point signed a player for below their market value. That's football, that's business. To hold a vendetta over it is pointless and childish.
The players or the fact their heads are turned by vast amounts riches the elite clubs can offer them. Speculation that the elite are prepared to offer £4m for one of our youngsters who ffs only made his debut yesterday. IMO English football will one day come down to earth with a big financial bang...I can't wait
The players choose to turn their heads do they not? They could easily turn down the chance to play in the Champions League and earn at least triple the amount they earn here, just like Le Tiss did. If they wish to leave, however, then they should, I'd like to hear how exactly you think this "financial bang" will happen. While super-rich foreign investors and the disturbingly powerful media are controlling the game, nothing will change.
