If only.

At least we're being linked with players like this instead of Kris Boyd, Banghoura, Samaras, Ridgewell, Pav, etc... though!

Seems a strange one given Marveaux and Obertan though. Not that Elia isnt better than both of course...

Cwarr is just a lying spineless **** whom I wouldn't give the steam off my piss to...

I know but when I look at his tweets they just fill me with optimism

Colin @cwarr07
Douglas currently #nufc priority, appetite also to bring in Eljero Elia, enquiries for Smith & Lovenkrands. Up to both if they want to leave

Imagine! Douglas and Elia in and Smith and McLovin out. Would be an amazing transfer window!

Over night we WERE linked with Pogrebnyak in Russian press. I dont know if they said we had offered or we were offered him for, €4.5m apparently. This morning west brom were chucked in too.

Liverpool have made a remarkable bid to swap Andy Carroll with Carlos Tevez and move on their club-record £35m signing not even a year after signing him from Newcastle United. The Anfield club contacted City on Thursday to ask how much they want for Tevez and whether they would be willing to contemplate a straight exchange with Carroll. Brian Marwood, the City football administrator, rebuffed the idea immediately, even though Carroll is a player Roberto Mancini has admitted admiring when he was at Newcastle.

The move demonstrates how Liverpool are now openly looking at offloading Carroll despite the insistence behind the scenes at Anfield that he can still play a prominent part and Kenny Dalglish's praise for the player after the 2-1 FA Cup defeat of Manchester United.

You don't need another striker! You have the Dembas, and Best makes a decent backup. Plus you have Shola and Loverman.

I'd rather we just didn't bother and went with what we have . The team we had was doing fine until Pardew starting piss farting around with the tactics once Ba and Tiote went.
