right you lot...

lets be honest both ways... anger and gloating left aside here.

1. liverpool got it wrong in the major tactics. Carragher and maxi were very bad and allowed utd to dominate. no legs no skills on show.

2. utd were pateint and composed but not that good. they waited unitl our lack of legs showed and a gap appeared (usually maxi's wing) and then went for it

3. for me motm was valencia.

4. kenny got the better of the subs, we were lucky we wer enot behind by the time they arrived.. kuyt and adam just had more legs and the tactical swithc proved decisive.

5. scholes ran out of legs but one has to feel a midfield for LFc with more legs would have blown scholes and giggs off the park.

6. gerrard ran out of legs big time and was walking most of the second half... that'll happen returning from injury and playing midweek but i don't think he'll ever get back the engine he had.

7. liverpool did get lucky.... the goal came from nothing... that'll happen when it's your day.

8. the ref was determined to not give cards, he booked rafael suprisingly and totally let maxi away with a two footed challenge, he was the same the whole game so i reckon maxi thought he'd get away with it.

All in all... utd were the better side but had no cutting edge, liverpool had it wrong and had little legs to outwork utd but once the subs came on the game become more equal and liverpool came into it, we didn't have any cutting edge either but it went our way and the 5th round beckons.

Neither side are a shadow of what they want to be, lfc need to rebuild utd do too. Injuries told today.

Good post. <ok>.

Out of the League Cup.
Out of the FA Cup.
Out of the European Cup.
Still in the Europa League with all the other teams not good enough for Europe's top table.
3 points off the league leaders with vastly inferior goal difference.
No consistent goalkeeper.
No consistent defenders.
Midfield utterly reliant on 2 elderly gentlemen.
Decent strike force.

And we will have ManU fans saying there is no decline.

Well, well, well.

And have the owners been spending big to keep them at the top? I can see Fergie going at the end of the season, he must be sick of working like this. They cream off every last penny and the club goes down the pan. I'm amazed we still don't hear as much about this, I've not seen anything of the green and gold campaign this season. The mancs must be happy with how things are...

I thought he was a bit quiet too, but we started to flood their box with players so maybe his main contribution was motivating and making space for others.

I thought about that. and probably the mancs were more scared of Bellers than they would have been of Spearing, so you're probably right.

The pic is there to show Evra with other non-white players. They do the same thing with "random" crowd shots, which always focus on brown or black faces.

<laugh> bazray is the biggest wum and only posts on inter club trheads... him posting what he did just goes to show...

I'd rather debate with berbs or rusholme than that lfc plastic.

Guys in fairness thay had injuries, all me missed were suarez and lucas.... losing rooney and nani blunted them so that was good for us.

we didn't go do what i'd have liked which is to dominate the game but we did what we could... we have to see for the future that several player wer now rely on have very little in terms of legs... gerrard, adam even, maxi, bellamy... we really need to keep rebuilding and improve form this... we won the day. I'm happy with that.

Whatever, at least I can spell and correctly utilise grammar. No offence, but your posts are so negative, I mistook you as a wum.

<laugh> ha ha, i always know every time some asshole starts on about spelling they really are just a faceless internet warrior out on the windup... soft lad..

an actual review, not just wishful thinking cos we won (you were not on before the game btw) in the hope of gloating, can't be negative or postive, merely accurate as possible. We got our win, i'm happy but can see how it could have gone very badly wrong on another day.

It was poetic justice that Evra lost the match for the mancs, I couldn't have scripted that better for a Hollywood picture!

Yes, a player gets racially abused and on his return to where he was abused his mistake costs his side the match. It's a fairytale!

Honestly, the persistence with making Suarez out to be the victim and making Evra out to be some kind of evil criminal is truly pathetic.

Reports are written before the end of the game and then the final result tacked on. When the report was written that would have been the last goal scored.

Well that's pretty stupid. Changing a pic cannot be that hard.

Whatever, so I give back to United fans, so what? Yes, we where under the cosh and won, was not the first time, won't be the last. (hopefully)
