Martin Atkinson pulls out of Match with virus???????????????

United have IMO put in an objection to the FA and said they dont like the referee.And UNBELIEVABLY the FA have changed him, United calling the shots, not the FA

And as for the virus thing, fair enough change him on the morning of the match for a virus.But TWO days before, he could be perfectly ok by match time.No Im sorry the "virus" thing is total bull s**t!!

We all know Fergie hates Atkinson, it doesnt half look as if Gill has said somethin at the FA about how Atkinson shouldnt be reffin this game,and all of a sudden he isnt

United have FAR TOO MUCH POWER with the FA IMO.And Gill being involved with the FA(which he shouldnt be) only makes decsions like this look very , very fishy indeed

I'm surprised as anyone else that the FA have decided that Martin Atkinson won't recover in time to referee the match.

I do await SirExLax's objection to a 50-year-old refereeing the match and querying his fitness levels...:emoticon-0112-wonde

Conspiracy. When all else fails, blame the ref and everyone else. Oh but not much complaining from you lot after wed night when the ref handed you victory.

On Utd's last appearance in the league cup final the ref handed them the cup after not sending Vidic off.

Swings and Roundabouts mate.
 
Where as I do think United, in particular Fergie, do have a considerable sway with the FA - I do not think this is an example of it.

You might have gone a bit far this time! However if Webb appeared...
