    Apparently, Davies is only looking for an eighteen month contract. That would buy us time to sort out the Gyan thing, and a season's cover till Ji and Wickham gained experience. Kevin has his good and bad points, but if MON wanted him I can't see much bad with it. As long as his wages didn't interfere with Gyan moves.

    I'd much prefer the Pav loan till summer to come off though.

    QPR have offered £4 million for him, not a lot of money in todays game, may well be worth a bidding war.

    Anything under 8m is a steal i think (disregarding his contract situation). 4m would be excellent, getting a quality forward for half his value. He's gone abit stale at wigan but i think he's a cracking forward,

    I am not too happy about hearing the statements we have very little money to spend not the words i want to hear when i am hoping to go places under O'Neil. I am also not too worried about spending money now but would expect a couple of big signings in the summer if we are to move forward next season.
    We should know by then what the potential of Campbell is and if he has recovered from his injury which will decide what we want.
    £4m for Rodallega is cheap money and is still only 26 so would have sell on value i think he would be a better prospect than Davies unless Davies comes on loan.
    Still a happy chappy at the moment and have picked my Hotel in london for the F.A Cup final Sunderland verses anybody lol
