Arry could do worse than look at young rising start Mario Gotze For anybody who has never heard of him i got this from Google Mario Götze (born 3 June 1992) is a German footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Borussia Dortmund in the German Bundesliga. He primarily plays as an attacking midfielder and a right winger, although he has also been deployed in central midfield. Götze is considered to be an up-and-coming, potential world class player due to his speed, technical skill and creativity. German Football Association's technical director Matthias Sammer called him "one of the best talents that we've ever had".[1] Ive seen this lad play and he he could do well for us and is physical enough to handle the EPL Thoughts
Gotze's being linked with all of the usual suspects and would cost a ridiculous amount of money. Sorry, but he's an extremely unlikely signing.
Arry did say it would take a super signing if he was to do business this month, Adebayour must be top of his realistic list or maybe even Llorente but this lad has a big future ahead of him. We must still have Champions League cash to spend?
We made £500k profit last season so it looks like it was all spent. I'd rather we didn't put all our eggs in one basket either. We could get a striker and a winger for that money and we need them much more than another attacking mid.
Thoughts on Hoillet as our back up winger? £5 million and Adebayour £20 Million and structured wages?
What's affecting my opinion of Hoilett is the status of any negotiations for Rasmus Elm. It was stated we'd get a deal in place for a summer move and, if that's the case, there's no need to sign Hoilett as he'd drop down the pecking order six months later.
Isn't Elm more of a central midfielder and Hoilett a winger who can probably play as a second striker, Croydon?
Probably not, SN23. Corluka looks likely to leave in either this window or the next, so Naughton would be a logical replacement for him. Your manager seems to have suggested that you haven't got much cash too and Levy would be looking for a profit on the £4m that we paid for him. I think that he'll take his place in our squad next season, along with Caulker, who's on loan at Swansea.
Elm can play across midfield or as a second striker - so he'll replace Modric and VDV when CaughtOffside are proven right and Man Utd snaffle them up this summer for £70m plus whichever player they're chucking in...
Just a thought: Man City have revealed they haven't paid Carlos Tevez since late November, which is surely in breach of his contract, so they're in no position to haggle with either Milan club given Tevez is within his rights to walk away for nothing.
We couldn't afford him mate. Dortmund apparantly said he's worth £40m... Very good and promising player but I don't think he's what we need at the moment, creativity is something we don't lack, it's the person to be on the other end of it all that we do - a striker is pivotal in my opinion.
To which Tevez's lawyers can counter with stating Man City spread malicious lies about him, and held a kangaroo court to punish him for something nobody else on City's bench for the match with Bayern (other than Mancini) said happened.
