Would love to live in New York, have been looking into it over the last year actually - takes time to get over there with a working visa though. How did she manage it?

Couldn't tell you, all I know was that she rang me one day saying that her mam and dad have sold the house and they're moving lol.

Haha, she went on holiday their the year before. Do they last for a certain amount of time?

I ain't got a clue about anything like that, only ever been to Spain and France haha.

Visitors visas are 3 months as far as I know. Working visas are different, you have to have an employer sponsor you to enter the country and then you're allowed to stay there for as long as you have a job (or if you stay in the job long enough to upgrade your visa closer towards citizenship then you have different privileges). That's my reading of it anyway, I'm sure a native of the US may read this and tell me I have it all wrong.

My dream is to move to Poland. I have books for learning the language, but I haven't been able to motivate myself into reading them. My Polish is very basic, I can order a beer.

Haha, her dad was in business over there. Maybe that helped them. I'll ask her when the fat **** wakes up <laugh>

Awesome, good luck with learning that language <laugh>. Also, you'd better start getting to like Skalpel if you're gonna live there; I don't think they'd take too kindly to having some of their favourite DJ's likened to elevator music <laugh>.

<laugh> Most likely not. I apologise for any offence caused! It's not that difficult once you learn the basic pronunciation concepts. The most difficult part I've found is getting my mouth to put letters together that it isn't used to, like the word for 'three' which is 'trzy'.

<laugh> None taken at all obviously.

Does Polish have the ' ř ' sound that is in Czech? Like a mix between a rolled 'r' and a buzzing/'rzhh' sound on the roof of your mouth with the tip of your tongue. Seriously hard to pronounce especially in the context of long words such as 'střibrných' <yikes>.

Yeah it does. Go on google translate, and translate '33333' into Polish and listen to how it's pronounced.
