I really wish we had a bit more info from the club about injuries. I know they like their hush hush approach but we are constantly getting injuries out of nowhere and we never seem to have a clue when anyone will be back <doh>

agree 1000000% - fonte was only supposed to miss one game, they tell us nothing

don't see the point of Forte on the bench.... unless you meant Fonte.

Yeah, I can see your point. I think I mainly put him on the bench, because I was very close to including him in my starting XI - a 4-3-3 with Lambert, Lee and Forte all up front together. But having changed my mind and stuck to 4-4-2, I only relegated Forte as far as the bench.

Of course now with Puncheon back, my XI no longer applies. Think I'd start him ahead of Holmes.

And as I keep on replying to people who say this - why? Why does it matter? How badly does it affect your daily life that you don't know the ins and outs of our injury situation?

If a player is fit, they're fit. If a player is injured, they're injured. But with the exception of when I'm sitting down in my seat at 3pm on a Saturday, knowing either way makes absoloutely no difference to me.

100% agree Brendy.. Why should the club give out information which might help our up and coming opponents to plan their game? I wouldn't mind if the club issued a weekly injury update which said "Some of our players are injured but most of them are fully fit".

because some of us like to know what is happening in our club, and it would explain strange decisions that have been made from time to time

Fonte has a broken toe. He'll be back soon, but not sure when.

Also why give the opposition an upper hand? it's like letting another firm know what contract you're about to seal and the price you've quoted.

Each to their own, I like to be slightly in the know. Not brandished in the opponent's face, but at least some kind of vague idea.
