SAFC website states that the Liverpool game is almost sold out and that there are only 43 single seats left. Come on SUNDERLAND!! Great game in prospect. May have Catts, Welbeck and Frasier back. Can't wait.
Come on! Make Niall Proud! Step up from thy barstools, and travelleth thee to the Enlightened Stadium, Cheer on the Lads, and FILL IT TO THE ****ING ROOF!!!
just had a look at stadium plan and all of north-south-east and west sold out. A few in prem concorse left.
Now all we need is for every man, woman and child at the game to create a pressure cooker atmosphere which will help the lads blow Liverpool away...Bring it on!!!!!!!
nothing to fear from liverpool if we get at them right away, plus, suarez is their best player at the minute and he won't even make it out of the tunnel with gyan, mensah and muntari in our side.
It promises to be a cracker! Especilally if Catts is back in form. Bet: Gyan to track back and get at least a yellow for a kick on Suarez. = even money
Should be a brilliant atmosphere and game, especially if catts and welbeck are on the field. Shame we have to wait till 20th, going to be a long week and a bit. 3-1 to the lads
From a VERY selfish view I agree entirely. It (regretfully) makes me think back to our days in the Championship when we had c. 30k attendances. We could get served no probs and would move seats depending on which end we were attacking.
Just looked at stadium plan again and all sold out bar a few in the blackcats bar, will be a cracker and I know the fans will be up for it so lets hope the players are.
One thing is sure, we'll create a much better atmosphere than they do at Anfield, which most games nowerdays has about as much atmosphere as my mothers kniting circle
63 seats left at 4.50pm and Liverpool have sold their allocation. So that should give us a crowd of 48900 +, yet whenever we have claimed to have sold out before the actual crowd always seems to be less than 48000. Anyone know why
That's 20 more than the original post! People been sending them back? In answer to less than 48K - segregation?
Thanks for that. By the way had nowt to do so went on the stadium plan and counted the seats individualy 63 was correct at 4.50
I thought it might be segregation but I have to admit I've seen games claimed to be sell outs where there hasn't appeared to be large gaps between rival fans. Someone might know though. Ta for the info anyway
I think it is down to segregation. I know that we restrict the tickets to away fans who (like the scousers) insist on standing throughout the match.
