Seriously, anyone who doesn't think that Balotelli didn't purposely stamp on Parker is plainly delusional! The first kick in the head was accidental but the second donkey kick special certainly was! I think he's a fantastic player but he surely has an attitude problem.

What's more disgraceful is Platt is trying to make it out as some Balotelli conspiracy!?!?!

you cant be 100% sure, and in the case of doubt then benefit has to go to the defendant.

It looks deliberate to me, but I couldn't say so with more than 85% certainty.

Yes but not as much as Shearer did when he nearly decapitated someone, Neill Lennon? Did he get banned?

Not at all - I remember this quite vividly and when people say no-one is bigger than their club well Shearer was bigger than the England side as he threatened to quit internationql football if the FA banned him so they buckled - was one of the worst violence occurences in a football match I have ever seen - totally pre-meditated and could easily have caused very serious injury or worse with the power behind the kick. Yet he got no punishment at all

Wonder if Balotelli thought about using video evidence of this occurrence in his defence?? Might have worked

I think he did because as he was falling forward and to his left. The norm would be to either fall forward or keep his right foot moving to stay upright.
I'm sure that his foot goes backwards and it was IMHO deliberate.
